This is the first one in a series I call "icy spikes." I'll add new ones to the series whenever I find something new

i like the composition, but i think there's too less contrast in the picture. nevertheless, i like it a lot.

thanks for that good idea, tried it out but unfortunately in this picture the background seems to be too distracting for to make it brighter - I'll try to get my next one better balanced
