Description
one more of the flower photos, I had a hard deal with the white balance of this one as I had to chose between plain reality and the expression of how I feel the colours - I hope I found the right balance.also, the balance between dark areas and subject is quite a problem for me as well, so if anyone has suggestions on that...
sorry that I have fallen a bit back with commenting on all your works but I'm I'm quite busy at the moment
ah, yes, critique is of course always very appreciated

beauty is definately here....

I can't really comment about darkness..as I calibrated my monitor etc.. so I have no idea what it looks like on yours...but in photoshop CS..I find the shadows/hihglights adjustment tool amazing..basically tones down crazy highlights and opens up shadows quite a bit...
as well..many people are saying that the D70 slightly underexposes..something to do with the curves and saving hihglights from blowing out... lots of custom curves one can download..I have set my exposure compensation to +0.3 as default, and it seems to be working out pretty good,,,and to keep hihglights from blowing out because of that, I shoot ont he lowest contrast setting...sure it looks like hell most of the time..but works well in post production..
anyways..knowing you..you already knew all of this
