Description

Don't ask me what category this belongs to, I guess abstract does best. I have thousands of possible titles for this, from "coming home" to "disorted" as I never asked this guy who he was and what he was doing at the airport - where he was going to or coming from, if he just waited for someone... I guess you can figure out your own story for this.

Mh... a penny for the thoughts of the one giving me 2 points. Please, I don't take offense in constructive critique but just leaving a "2"-rating doesn't help me at all.

i like it, neat concept:)
the lightspots are a bit distracting, and i'd like to see more of the figure and less of the surroundings, but that's just my opinion:)
good job!

ps- i agree...voting just to give 2 points and no crit is kinda unuseful....but better than nothing

I like the picture. great shot! :)

maybe you could have focussed (I don't whether this the right English word..) on the man, so that you could see him a little bit better...
I guess it would look better in B&W... don't know why, just try it... ;)

just continue shooting photographs like this, I like your work! +6/7

I think you got it right on this one, Good Effect trough lights and colors, good detail on main subject, good aproaching sensation and stillness on subject, good work

I like the focus on the man the way it is, the lights are a bit overwhelming to me, though. Good shot.

JohnDoe yapp, focus isn't perfect - the problem is: I took it with a lensbabie, those lenses focus with your fingers pushing and pulling it (this way I got those hard disortions on the left, by the way) - very hard to focus that way - and I have to admit that I still need some experience with that :)

NIce movement, I always prefer off-center subjects when dynamism is called for. Too bad the upper left shoulder and head of the man didn't have a contrasting background, but hey, that's photography.:)
Neat job overall.

This is a cool shot Lenz! I like it. I would prefer to see the person on the right in sharper focus. just my taste. a really good shot.

I like this Lenz. I feel a sense of motion when looking at this piece and I believe that was one of your goals. I don't at all mind the softness. To me it only helps with the motion effect. My eyes are easily drawn to the back of the photo.

Very nicely done Lenz!

A bit dark maybe, but I like it. It moves! :)

I like it a lot, but I do agree it's a bit dark. But the overall effect is give me a sleepy feeling, like waking from a dream.

Lenz...I admit, I didn't know the existence of these lenses! Ooops....
Checking the web...I think it can be really very useful to achieve cool artistic effects! A very interesting experiment...the silhouette of the man works really very well! :)

I think this shows the essence of airports....hectic! :) Very good job conveying this!

Nevermind about the "2" voter, we all get them. It shows you've made it to the top!

Beautiful shot. Kinda' hypnotizing. Composition is also good in my opinion.

I really like this a lot, the relatively crips silhouette of the mysterious suitcase guy contrasting with the general distortion really mkes him pop! Great colours too, not sure if you have made it lighter in lieu of others comments, but if what I am looking is the original, I don't think its too dark at all.
